We only wish the mower really worked on the grass!

When Papa takes on a project. . . . . we all take on his project. And that includes Tyler. This past weekend Papa thought it was time to get his team together to help clean up the American Legion/VFW grounds. It was in need of grass cutting, trimming, weed removal, bush removal or trim, trash pick up, etc. Most of the work that needed to be done was around a fence.
It was a real family effect. Mommy picked up trash. Daddy trimmed trees. Grandma moved limbs from one pile to the next. Papa trimmed and bossed. Tyler did a little bit of everything. He was a great worked! He just wants to help with it all and he never complains. He helped Grandma move limbs from one pile to the other. He enjoyed using the long clippers to cut off branches until they became to heavy for him. But of course, he enjoyed mowing the best. We filled his mower with bubbles and off he went!
He felt like one of the guys when he got his own towel to wipe away the sweat! It's all in a days work for Tyler!

Tyler you are learning so many neat things I hope you continue to think they are fun projects when you are 16.
Yard work. Classic Papa project. LOL I imagine in 10 years he will roll his eyes just like the rest of us. But I do miss the days in London working in the yard...just not hand-staining the deck. ha ha
