Tyler has been asking all summer to go on vacation, so Daddy and I thought that we would go to Atlanta to visit Uncle Zach over the 4th of July weekend. Tyler was so excited to be visiting Uncle Zach! He was a fabulous car rider, never complained of the long drive even though he was anxious to see Uncle Zach.
Uncle Zach had a fun-filled weekend planned for us. We started the weekend at the aquarium. Tyler loved looking at the fish, whales, alligators, and penguins. On our walk to the aquarium, Uncle Zach gave Tyler Pop-Its. Tyler enjoyed throwing them on the ground to create the loud popping noise.
The next day, we spent the day at the pool. Tyler had Daddy and Uncle Zach worn out when we left the pool. He had them playing ball with him, pushing him on the raft, and catching him when he jumped in the pool. Mommy & Patricia were worn out by just watching them!
That evening, Uncle Zach put on a great firework show. Tyler loved watching the fireworks, but from the safety of the van! The fireworks were cool and went high into the sky, but Tyler wanted to be sure that he was safe.
This is our second year spending the 4th with Uncle Zach, and we think this may be our tradition. We are looking forward to next year's firework show!

What a neat vacation Tyler. I also like to watch the fireworks from somewhere safe too!

Looks like I missed a great trip! Can I go next year? I love the picture of the 5 of you. Tyler is looking up at Patricia OR Zach; wonder what he's thinking!?
