Today Tyler and Grandma bonded in the kitchen while Mommy was at work. We decided to make our traditional cutout sugar cookies. Tyler was a very big helper. He had his hands into it all.

He liked using the rolling pin. He did a good job keeping it all floured up so the dough didn't stick. He would say, "roll it, roll it, roll it". Guess he was trying to remember what to do. hehe

Picking out which cookie cutter was interesting to him. He made sure he used them all. And of course, eating the dough was a thrill in itself!

Once Mommy got home, Tyler was excited to show her all the cookies. Next came the icing. We sure missed Uncle Zach on this job! He always enjoyed icing cookies with us. Tyler doesn't like to get his hnds dirty, so he was very careful with the icing. He iced his first cookie then quickly popped it into his mouth! We all laughed!

If Tyler proved one thing today it was he was capable of doing 2 things at once. He was icing a cookie while watching TV. He didn't want to miss out on icing the cookies or watching Frosty the Snowman!
