Mason is 4 months already, where has the time gone? I took him to his 4 month appointment and he weighs 16 pounds, 5 ounces and is 26 inches long. I can't believe he is so big! I started him on cereal, his first experience was on April 25th. He actually loved it! When I didn't give him the spoon fast enough, he would start to cry. I was surprised at how well he was able to eat the cereal and not push it all out. Mason loves to play with his hands and feet. I didn't know how interesting our feet and hands are! He is also a talker. He has lots to say! When he is awake, there is hardly a moment when he is not talking, laughing or smiling! Mason thinks that his big brother is the funniest thing. He is already looking up to him. Mason's eyes are always following his big brother! I don't want him to grow anymore, but I also can't wait to see the bond develop between Tyler and Mason.

Mason, can't wait to see your expression when they feed you liver - hope you like it as well as the cereal. I don't think Christopher liked it at all - in fact I think he may have said his first "bad" words then. He just jabbered away and had a sore looking face when he ate it for the first and only time.
The photo of Mason with cereal in and around his mouth is a keeper. His mind is saying, "Cereal is yummy in my tummy."
Great Hemmert family photo. Mason is one cool dude in his high chair! Tyler is so proud to be a big brother. Very cool.
