Tyler is learning this year what Fall/Autumn is really like. He has noticed the leaves on the trees has changed colors. He will say, "where the green ones go"? He also notices all the dried leaves on the ground; which he enjoys stepping on and rolling around in. He has learned what wearing a sweatshirt or jacket everyday is like! I say, "Welcome to Ohio Tyler"!
On Sunday, Mommy, Daddy, Tyler and Grandma when to Freeman's Farm, in Galena to enjoy a Halloween Festival. Tyler tried his hand at feed the baby goats and calves. He enjoyed climbing on the piles of pumpkins. But riding on a hay wagon (which Brent said was really straw not hay) that was being pulled by a tractor made the day for Tyler. He was so excited to see all the tractors pulling the wagons. We all got to ride with the red one! He loved watching the wheels slide in the mud.
One of the family activities they had was making your own scarecrow! Grandma thought that would be fun. We all helped! Tyler too! He loved stuffing the pants with straw and picking out the hat! The scarecrow was given a Birth Certificate, so we had to name it. Tyler calls him "Farmer Joe" after one of his favorite DVDs! It was a beautiful fall day to spend with the family outdoors.

I know Tyler had a great time...especially with all those tractors and mud. The next step for for Halloween is the carve a pumpkin. I wonder if Tyler will get his hands all dirty scooping out the guts?

Sounds like a great fall fun day. I hope he enjoys carving a pumpkin better than I did, don't like getting my hands dirty!
