Moving Day
The movers! (MeMa, Papa, Tyler, Daddy, Mommy and Grandpa Hemmert)
Brent proud of his packing job!
Daddy and Tyler inside the Penske truck
This past Saturday was a day of mixed emotions. On the happy side we loaded up all of Angie and Brent's household items. On the sad side..... their life in Florida is coming to an end.
Brent and his dad flew into Jacksonville Friday morning and started loading the 26' Penske truck to find it was to small to hold everything. We ended up getting a U-Haul trailer to hold the rest. Can you imagine the looks they got going down the highway!
Tyler was very happy to see Daddy! He was a little shadow to him. Where ever Daddy went, so did Tyler. If Daddy walked up the ramp with boxes, Tyler followed! Daddy was happy when it was time for Tyler to take a nap for everyone was afraid Tyler was going to get stepped on!
Daddy and Grandpa Hemmert left early Saturday morning for their long drive to Columbus. Driving the Penske truck and pulling the U-Haul trailer took them 17 1/2 hours! It was a very short visit (less than 24 hours), but Tyler and Daddy made good use of their time together!
Today is the closing for the sale of their home in Jacksonville.
Grandma Kerr (Tyler is no longer calling me MeMa.... I am now Grandma)

What a big helper Tyler must have been. I know he misses his Dad, hopefully they will all be together again soon.

It makes me sad to see the moving truck in the front of the Hemmert house. We had some good times in that house the past few years. BUT...now we get to make new memories in O-H-I-O.
GO BUCKEYES Tyler....GO BUCKEYES!!!
