Uncle Time

Uncle Zach Building a Castle and Tyler Squashing It

Uncle Zach and Tyler Playing Airplane

Tyler & Mommy at Dinner

Uncle Zach came to Jacksonville to help us move. Lucky for him, when he arrived, we were all done! So, Uncle Zach was able to spend quality time with Tyler. We thought we would take advantages of our time in Florida by going to the beach. This is one of Tyler's favorite past times! Tyler loved it that Uncle Zach was there to help him play in the sand and to toss him around in the ocean. Tyler really enjoyed jumping waves with Uncle Zach and having him play airplane with him.
We were all hungry after playing at the beach, so we thought we would take Papa out for Father's Day dinner. Tyler was a good little boy at dinner, thanks to the cookie Uncle Zach bought him!
Not only did Tyler and Uncle Zach spend quality time together on Saturday, but Tyler woke Uncle Zach up early on Sunday morning to watch the Fishing channel and 'racing' cars. Can we say that he is all boy?!

Moving Day

The movers! (MeMa, Papa, Tyler, Daddy, Mommy and Grandpa Hemmert)

Brent proud of his packing job!

Daddy and Tyler inside the Penske truck

This past Saturday was a day of mixed emotions. On the happy side we loaded up all of Angie and Brent's household items. On the sad side..... their life in Florida is coming to an end.
Brent and his dad flew into Jacksonville Friday morning and started loading the 26' Penske truck to find it was to small to hold everything. We ended up getting a U-Haul trailer to hold the rest. Can you imagine the looks they got going down the highway!
Tyler was very happy to see Daddy! He was a little shadow to him. Where ever Daddy went, so did Tyler. If Daddy walked up the ramp with boxes, Tyler followed! Daddy was happy when it was time for Tyler to take a nap for everyone was afraid Tyler was going to get stepped on!
Daddy and Grandpa Hemmert left early Saturday morning for their long drive to Columbus. Driving the Penske truck and pulling the U-Haul trailer took them 17 1/2 hours! It was a very short visit (less than 24 hours), but Tyler and Daddy made good use of their time together!
Today is the closing for the sale of their home in Jacksonville.
Grandma Kerr (Tyler is no longer calling me MeMa.... I am now Grandma)

Skyping with Daddy

Talking With Daddy

Tyler Tickling Daddy

Since Daddy is living in Ohio and Tyler and I are in Florida, we bought a webcam so that we could all see each other. Tyler misses his daddy, so he enjoys talking and seeing Daddy on the computer. It is really cute to watch Tyler interact with him. He doesn't quite understand that Daddy can't do everything through the computer screen. While talking with each other, Tyler shows him his toys, he tries to tickle him and throw ball with him. He thinks Daddy isn't a very good catcher because he always misses the ball! Luckily though, Daddy can feel the tickle bugs through the screen because he is always giggling when Tyler's tickle bugs come after him!
We are glad that technology allows us to see each other even though we are far away. This way Daddy can see how much Tyler has grown and Tyler knows that Daddy is always there. Tyler and I can't wait to be with Daddy again!

More Fun with Uncle Scott & Aunt Kaffy

On the Train

First Time Playing Air Hockey

Mommy Stealing a Kiss From Tyler

Tyler & Uncle Scott watching 'Tractors'

Tyler had a great visit with Uncle Scott and Aunt Kaffy. They had lots of fun together! While Mommy was at work they played hard together. Tyler loved it when they took him to the mall so that he could play in the play zone and ride the new train. He loves trains!
Every evening before bedtime, Tyler gets to watch his shows. This week, he wanted to watch "Tractors", which is a non-fiction DVD about construction yards. Tyler always wanted to sit with Uncle Scott, luckily Uncle Scott enjoyed watching about tractors!
One evening, we took Tyler to Ollie Koala's, which is like Chuck E. Cheese. Tyler was scared when the Koala came to visit, but as soon as he was out of sight, he was ready to play! Tyler enjoyed playing basketball, air hockey, and driving the race car. He was a very good boy in there!
Tyler and Mommy were both sad to see Uncle Scott and Aunt Kaffy leave. We can't wait until our next visit with them!

Uncle Scott and Aunt Kaffy's Visit!

Tyler Taking Aunt Kaffy for a Ride on the Bus

Tyler & Uncle Scott Playing in the Water

Tyler Giving Uncle Scott a Massage

Tyler Playing in the Water

MeMa and Papa Kerr went to Hawaii this week, so Tyler's Great Uncle Scott and Great Aunt Kathy, aka Aunt Kaffy, came to stay with Tyler while Mommy went to work. Tyler is so lucky to have an uncle and aunt who love him so much to come and stay with him! He is enjoying every minute they are spending together!
When they arrived, Tyler wanted to show them one of his favorite past times, going to the beach! He has been afraid of the water this year, so I was shocked when he went with Uncle Scott to 'cool' off. If anyone will be able to get Tyler to do something, it is Uncle Scott; he is Tyler's new buddy!
Tyler also showed them the park by the house, which he loves to go to. He enjoyed pushing Aunt Kaffy on the swings, playing on the bus and going down the slides. Uncle Scott was even lucky to get a massage from Tyler! And to top things off, Tucker was giving him kisses on his head during it, what else could a guy ask for?!
Tyler is looking forward the rest of the week with Uncle Scott and Aunt Kaffy!

More Visiting in Ohio

Tyler & Quinn Running Around the House

Tyler & Quinn in a Sippy Cup Chugging Contest

In our trip to Ohio, we stopped by our friend's house for a visit. Tyler and their son Quinn, had a great time playing with each other. Quinn shared his toys with Tyler very nicely, Tyler needs to take a few lessons! They then had a fun time running around the house being different animals. They were dogs, cats, lions, bears, and frogs. They were both extremely thirsty from all the running they did. As you can see, we have some future party animals on our hands!
