Beaches Parade

Helping Papa move the HumVee into position

Still trying to get it in right spot!

Papa in his HumVee before the parade

Sunday the beaches in Jacksonville officially opened for the season. It was a hot sunny day for a parade, and great weather to be on the beach. Papa's Shrine Club was in the parade. Tyler enjoys Papa's Shrine HumVee as long as he doesn't have to ride in it. Tyler is still scared of the little mini car! He is also still scared of Papa when puts on his fez (hat). But Tyler does like working on the HumVee with Papa and really likes pushing it around (up and down the trailer and driveway).
As far as the parade goes, Tyler doesn't like the clowns at all! But he does enjoy collect the candy that is thrown to him.

What a strong helper Tyler is helping Papa move that HumVee. One day he will ride in it with Papa and have a ball.

I hope Tyler has some leftover cotton candy from last week's parade. I will see him on Friday this week. But if I were him, I would have ate all of it already. It's good stuff.

As for Tyler not wanting to ride in the HumVee...there will be a day very soon that we won't be able to get him out of it. He'll be taking it for joy rides around the neighborhood one day soon.
