Bowling

Friday evening we all (Mommy, Daddy, Tyler, Zach, Papa & MeMa) went to a bowling alley. We took MatchBox Cars for Tyler to play with while we all bowled. Tyler had his own plans. At first he was just excited to watch and wait for the balls to return, but then he wanted to bowl. Mommy figured he would throw a few balls and that would make him happy. Wrong. Tyler bowled 3 games! He loved it.
This alley had all color coded balls according to their weight. Tyler wanted a yellow ball (which was 9 lbs). A little heavy for him, but he wanted a "yellow" ball. We took turns helping him carry, hold and throw his yellow ball. Then, an employee came by and said they had a ramp we could use to roll the ball down. That was great and saved our backs, plus they didn't have to keep coming down to retrieve the slow moving ball that stopped halfway down the lane!
Tyler enjoyed carrying his ball, and rolling his ball, he enjoyed watching the pins fall, but I believe what he enjoyed the most was waiting and watching for his yellow ball to be returned!

My grandson, Gabriel loves to bowl. He has had 2 birthday parties at the bowling alley. I know first hand what you mean about breaking your back helping them. Those ramps are great, however our alley doesn't have them. I remember how much Tyler loves balls, all sizes.

Tyler might be destined for the PBA. The little guy rolled a strike on his first night out bowling. Pretty impressive. We will have to start calling him Mr. King Pin.
