Special Santa Ray
Can't you hear him saying "choo-choo"?
Playing with the wooden train
Tyler had a wonderful Christmas. Once he opened all his gifts at his house, he had a special surprise from his Special Santa Claus. A man, named Ray, that we met at the Shrine Arts & Craft Show gave Tyler one of his handmade wooden trains. It is absolutely gorgeous. Tyler was excited to say the least when he opened it up. He couldn't get it out of the box and put it together fast enough. This train will give Tyler hours and hours of playing enjoyment. Now to keep it UP so that it doesn't give Tucker hours and hours of chewing enjoyment will be the challenge.
Merry Christmas to all!

What a neat train and I do believe I hear Tyler saying "choo choo", what fun he will have entertaining Tucker with that train.
Pretty fitting that the man's name was "Ray." I believe mom once had visits from a Santa Claus named Ray. Not to mention it was hand-made from wood. Seems like her Santa Ray did alot of wood-working back in the day. Certainly a special gift for Tyler.
Yes, my Santa Ray did do alot of wooden hand-made items. He loved to work with his hands! I believe I got my craftiness from him.
Uncle Zach, when you were in the first grade you had a visit in our home from Santa; his name was also Ray. Seems like we all have had a Santa Ray in our life.
Mom - I remember that actually. I believe he was the guy across the street on Selkirk Ave.
Zach, you are correct. That Santa lived across the street from us on Selkirk and he played Santa at JCPenney's also. He had a really nice looking costume, so that helped convince you he was 'real'.
