Thanksgiving 2007
We hosted our first Thanksgiving this year. I was worried that everything wouldn't turn out, but it was all yummy...I know because Tyler ate a lot! Brent's parents and Zach came for the festivities. Tyler loves it when we have company because he becomes the center of attention!
It was the first visit by Grandma and Grandpa Hemmert since we moved to Florida, so we were excited to tour them around. We went to the beach, although it was too chilly to get in the water. Tyler still enjoyed looking at the sand and seagulls. Later that weekend we went to St. Augustine and toured the fort.
Grandpa Hemmert had chores to do around the house. He had to install child proof locks on the cabinets so that Tyler can't break mommy's things! As you can see, Grandpa had a little helper. Tyler was right there by his side watching. Who knows when Tyler will need to install the locks too?! Just to show there were no hurt feelings, Tyler even let Grandpa share his sucker with him!
We had a great Thanksgiving and looking forward to the next visitors!
(sorry the pictures are not in order, I can't figure out how to move them.)

Angie, the dinner looks wonderful and I'm sure everyone enjoyed it. Congratulations on making it through your "first" Thanksgiving dinner.
Brent and Angie did a great job hosting Thanksgiving. The cinnamon candy apples were excellent. :) I can still hear Tyler say, "WOW" at your neighbors Christmas lights.
