Shrine Circus

Baseball helped with his dart throwing. Enjoying his Cotton Candy.
He wanted to ride in a Chair, but decided to try the Horse.
He kept telling Papa to go faster and faster.
Enjoying the ride.
Today was a Tyler, Papa and Grandma Day! We went to the Shrine Circus. Tyler was very excited from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. He kept telling me it was the best day he had ever had. (just melted my heart!) And he was giving away LOTS of hugs and kisses!

The circus was actually the best one I had ever attended and Tyler was never bored or lost any interest in it. He especially enjoyed the acting horse, the sleeping elephants and the singing pig! He had me hold his food so he could clap often! And talk about food, he knows what to do at a circus! He had a hot dog, french fries, cotton candy, peanuts, snow cone, etc. etc. etc.

The circus also had carnival rides and games. Tyler enjoyed the rides; specially when Papa and Grandma could ride with him. I believe his favorite thing was throwing the darts at the balloons. He liked popping the balloons. And once he won a prize for himself, he wanted to win something for Baby Mason. Isn't he the sweetest Big Brother!? In a few years Baby Mason can come with us and join in the family circus fun.

Fun at the Park

The boys watching T.V. in Mommy & Daddy's bed Saturday morning!

Mason's 1st trip to the park, all bundled up!

Since the weather so nice on Saturday, I decided to take the boys to the park. This was Mason's first trip to the park, and I am sure it was only one of many! Tyler had a blast! He made a lot of new friends to play with. He climbed and jumped on everything! After we played in the park for an hour, we decided we still weren't ready to come home, so we took a long walk around the park. Tyler enjoyed learning how to skip rocks; he still hasn't mastered this as his teacher (mommy) can't do it either! Tyler is excited for the weather to continue to be nice so we can enjoy more outside time.

Mason got baptised on March 6, 2011. We were thankful to have our family with us to help us celebrate this joyous occasion!

Happy Birthday Brent!

Brent had a great birthday weekend! We were planning to go out to dinner Saturday evening and then celebrate Mason's baptism on Sunday. We were pleasantly surprised when dad brought over Brent's birthday presents. When dad came over, he needed Brent's help with the gifts. When we went outside to help and there was a person wrapped up in birthday paper! Brent unwrapped the person and it was Zach! Brent, Tyler, Mason, and I were so excited! Of course, mom and dad helped with this surprise, so they knew. I can't believe that mom kept that a secret from me! I don't think Tyler let Uncle Zach out of his sight for a few hours, he was thrilled for him to be here. We thank everyone who was involved to help make Brent's birthday and Mason's baptism a special one!!

Big & Little

Tyler & Mason in matching shirts
Look at Mason's cute poutty face!!

Aren't they cute?! Mason has the best big brother ever!
Here are some recent pictures of Tyler and Mason. They have a few matching shirts and big brother/little brother t-shirts. They look so cute in them! In the pictures, Tyler is 4 1/2 years old and Mason is 2 months old. Mason is growing up so fast. He is already 13 pounds and 24 1/2 inches long. He is no longer our little baby!

Tyler has to be the best big brother ever! (Well besides Zach and Todd!) He loves to hold Mason, feed him, and play with him. But the cutest thing ever is when Tyler sings to Mason 'Rock a Bye Baby' when he's crying. Mason does love Tyler's singing as he normally stops crying during the song. Mason just looks up at Tyler and smiles, it is just too precious! Brent and I look forward to the upcoming months and years as they continue to grow up together!

Friend Addition!

Mason and Caden! (Mason doing his new favorite thing...blowing bubbles.)

Tyler and Quinn enjoying their play time!
Our friends Adam and Rachel added a new addition to their family, Caden. Caden is 10 months old and is from S. Korea. I took the boys over to their house so they could meet Caden. Tyler was excited to go over there to meet Quinn's new baby brother. But once we got there, he was having too much fun playing with Quinn to pay any attention to Caden. I am sure it will be just a matter of time before they are all playing together!
When we arrived at their house, Quinn had to change his shirt so that he and Tyler matched in their 'Big Brother' shirts. Unfortunately, they wouldn't pose in a picture for us! (Silly boys!) It was too cute that they were twins for the evening!
Rachel made dinner for us. After dinner, she asked Tyler if he wanted a cupcake for dessert. Tyler informed Rachel that he didn't want one because cupcakes are junk food. Rachel said that she was going to have one. Tyler replied, "Then you are going to get large!" Rachel and I cracked up laughing! I hope he doesn't tell his future girlfriends things like this!
We are very happy for Adam, Rachel, Quinn and Caden. We look forward to all of our play dates that we will have!
