Handy Tyler

Telling Papa to say "cheese"

Giving a helping hand

If there is one thing Tyler is, that is helpful. If there is work to be done, Tyler wants to help out! He loves to help mow the grass, mop the floors, clean windows, empty the dishwasher, cook, tell you when the dryer bell goes off, you name it he is helpful!
If Tyler sees Papa with a tool in his hand, he will run to get his "Handy Mandy Tool Box"! He knows most of the tools by name and how to use them. Papa is always impressed with his eye hand coordination. Sometimes it takes Papa a little longer to get his projects completed, but they always finish together! (we just need to teach Tyler to say "and I helped" in his southern accent! hehe)
Perhaps he will be a mechanic, surgeon or engineer when he gets older.

Haircut MileStone

Saying his favorite...."cheese"

Proud of the haircut!

Tyler is now 3 1/2 years old, and has had many many haircuts! And this past Saturday was the first he got without crying!! He still wanted to sit on Grandma's lap, but no one had to hold his legs, arms or head still! He never cried once! We didn't know if this day would ever come or not. Not sure if he was good because he now knows they don't hurt, he got tired of screaming in there, he's now 3 1/2, or because Papa Kerr promised to take him to Toys-R-Us and buy him a crane! Either way ...... Thank You Tyler for the new achievement! We are all proud of you!

Dallas Cowboys!

"How bout them Cowboys?"

Time to get dizzy!

Uncle Zach's visits are always a big treat for Tyler! He loves to see his Uncle Zach. Tyler usually shares nicely with Zach, but he does like to boss him around. Zach knows if he doesn't do as Tyler wants, he will hear, "Come on Zach!"
This trip Uncle Zach wanted to persuade Tyler to become a Dallas Cowboy fan. He came with an authentic jersey, a cowboy t-shirt, a wall pennant and a football. Uncle Zach taught him the phrase, "How bout them Cowboys?" He now says it all the time! Needless to say they played football all weekend..... and of course, to Tyler's rules! For 3 years old, Tyler understands the game .... well, he knows you throw, catch, hike and tackle ..... is there more?
