1st Day of Preschool

Tyler before preschool

Mommy & Tyler before leaving to go to preschool

Tyler with his teacher, Mrs. Caldwell

Tyler started preschool on September 10th. He was not keen on the idea of going to school, so when it was time to leave we told him we were going shopping. A boy after my own heart! When we arrived at school, Tyler didn't want to go, he kept telling Grandma and I that he was scared. He held tight onto our legs, afraid we were going to leave him. His teacher, Mrs. Caldwell, told Tyler that he was going to have fun and it would be okay. Grandma and I left a screaming child, but within minutes he was having fun playing with all the toys and his new friends.

When we picked him up at school, we asked him what he did. Like a typical boy, the first thing he said was that he played on the playground! We then learned about the art project he made, books read, and the snack they ate.

Luckily now, he enjoys school and he looks forward to going every Tuesday and Thursday!

Labor Day Weekend

One of Tyler's favorite things to do at Grandma & Grandpa's...ride the 4-wheeler!

We spent Labor Day weekend at the Hemmert's Farm. Tyler had a great time there. He liked watching everyone feed the cows, but he was too scared to get too close! He is getting braver, so in no time at all he should want to feed them himself.

Tyler's all time favorite past time there is to ride the 4-wheeler. Grandpa and Daddy took him on lots of rides. It never seems to get old with him. Tyler was one lucky boy when Grandpa took him on a ride and Tyler's Great-Uncle Mark was riding in the tractor. Tyler loved watching him bail hail! Maybe we have a future farmer on our hands!

We also took Tyler and Logan to the Heritage Festival in Piqua. They both enjoyed riding in the barrels being pulled by a lawn mower. I believe he rode it 3 times, and still wanted to go again!

The weekend was finished with a cookout with all the Hemmert's. We all enjoyed seeing one another. The cousins all had a blast playing with each other. And yes, Tyler's favorite thing was being pulled in the wagon by the 4-wheeler!
