Last Visit in Ohio

Papa & Tyler Playing Lincoln Logs

Papa, Daddy & Tyler on Boat Ride

Tyler & Daddy in the Water

Tyler Hitting Pinata at Logan's Birthday Party

Grandparents with all Grandkids

We took our last visit to Ohio before our move there. Tyler had a great visit with all of his friends and family! Papa and MeMa Hemmert took Tyler on a boat ride, this was his first boat ride! He hated wearing the life jacket at first, but when he saw Daddy wearing one too, he didn't mind it as much. While on the boat, the boys got out to cool down. Tyler thought it was fun to play in the water and sand. I know where we will be spending our free time!
We also got to help Logan celebrate his 3rd Birthday! It was so fun to watch all the cousins play together. To top off the fun, there was a pinata. The boys each took turns hitting the pinata for the candy to fall out. Tyler took his turns, but he enjoyed trying to catch the candy more.
While at Papa & MeMa's house, Tyler loved looking at the cows and tractors. He wouldn't get too close to the tractor yet, but he liked the cows! A boy after his mother's heart!!

3rd Birthday

"Happy Day"

B-Ball with Uncle Zach

"Do again"

Resting!

On May 6, Tyler turned 3 years old. What a big boy! Tyler calls it "Happy Day"!Since Daddy is working in Columbus and couldn't make it down for this special day, Uncle Zach made sure he could be here. Tyler and Uncle Zach had a great time together. Zach said he was worn out trying to keep up with Tyler! Tyler kept him on the go the whole time he was here!
They played basketball, soceer ball, catch, and toss the ball on the roof (which was Tyler's favorite). They ran around alot!
Uncle Zach enjoyed picking Tyler up by the ears, which Tyler would laugh at and say "again". Tyler kept encouraging Zach to toss him on MeMa's bed.... he loves the rush from falling!
Zach tried to teach Tyler to peddle his bike. But instead, Tyler ended up having Zach sit on the bike as he told Zach to "push the peddles". Tyler still cannot peddle. Guess he is a better teacher than a student.
Uncle Zach got no rest. For whenever he would sit down or lay down on the couch there was Tyler to be with him. Tyler loves his Uncle Zach.

No Daddy

Birthday Dinner with no Brent

Eating Spaghetti

On Saturday, May 9, it was MeMa's birthday. We all went to dinner at one of my favorite Italian restaurants, "Enza's". Tyler loves to eat pasta. It takes him awhile to eat since he eats one piece at a time! LOL
Since Brent is working in Columbus now, we missed him. He is a big part of our family and is missed by all of us.

Lunch in St. Augustine

Uncle Zach & Tyler getting Mommy

Mommy & Tyler getting Uncle Zach

On Sunday, May 10, Tyler tried his best to give his mommy a BIG special day for it was not only her Mother's Day but also her birthday!
To celebrate her BIG special day Tyler took Mommy to the Alligator Farm in St. Augustine. He let Uncle Zach, Papa and MeMa tag along also. It was the first time that Uncle Zach and Papa had been there and they really enjoyed it.
We were all hungry after all the walking we had done, so Papa took us to lunch at the Conch House on the water. Such a beautiful setting to eat by.
To top the day off we took Mommy to Toys-R-Us. She loves shopping! Uncle Zach got squirt guns! Tyler's first. Not sure if Uncle Zach and Mommy were reliving their childhood or if they were in their second childhood for they both had a good time with them!
Happy Birthday and Mother's Day Angie. You are a wonderful Mommy and I know for sure that Tyler is one lucky boy to have you as his mommy!

Aunt "Kaffy"

Saying Good-Bye to Aunt "Kaffy"

Tyler has such a wonderful bonding weekend with Aunt Kaffy -aka- Aunt Kathy. From the moment she walked in the door she had his heart in her hands. Tyler loves playing with the toy car "DJ" from Cars that she gave him. Thank you again for the "musical" car. He wanted to do everything with Aunt Kaffy. I do believe she would a bad person to have around often for she would spoil him rotten!
Aunt Kathy sat on the floor to play cars with him just minutes after she walked into our house. Tyler liked the way she played. He would say, "Kaffy let's play" and off they went. She read many books to him and enjoyed learning about the movie Madagascar from him and how to say "I like to Movie It Move It".
They took turns giving each other back massages. It is a very heavy machine, so he does quite well with it.
The sad part of the trip came today when Tyler and I took Aunt Kathy to the airport. He thought he was there to "pick-up Papa". When I explained to him that Aunt Kathy was going on an airplane he turned to her and reached over to her and said, "No bye-bye Kaffy. No airplane Kaffy". He was so sad all the way home! Once we got home, Tyler walked into the house and said, "Kaffy all gone". He does love his Aunt Kaffy!

Waiting for Company

Cleaning up Tucker's slobber

Got thirsty

Trying to splash Mommy and MeMa

Today is going to be a fun day for us all. We are waiting for Tyler's Great Aunt Kathy to arrive. Tyler wanted to be well rested so he decided to sleep until 9:30 this morning. That is very late for him.

When he noticed MeMa was cleaning up some, Tyler said, "Tyler help". So he got the Windex and off he went. He loves to do windows, but he sprays it so much, we need to do the floor afterwards. But he IS helping.

After our work was done we decided to relax by the pool. It is 90 degrees today, so we cooled off in the backyard. Tyler had fun in the water while Mommy and MeMa got some sun.

Looking forward to Aunt Kathy's visit.
