Papa's Visit

Tyler and Papa reading, while Papa looks GOOD in his new hat!

Tyler giving Papa a great big hug!

Papa Kerr came over to visit Tyler since he now only gets to see him on the weekends. Tyler was so excited to see Papa! He pulled Papa by the hand and walked him to his room. Tyler then shut the door so that Papa couldn't escape! They had so much fun reading books and playing with Tyler's cars. But what Tyler loved the most was putting his trash can on Papa's head as a "Hat". Tyler would take turns wearing the "hat" himself and sharing it with Papa. Luckily, we haven't used the trash can to collect trash yet!

Daddy Day's

Daddy brushing Tyler's teeth

A big Thank You talk

First bike riding lesson

Like most little boys, there is nothing more fun than spending a day with Daddy! Daddy thought to start their day off right, a clean mouth was the way to go. Tyler was most cooperative since it was with his daddy. He even thanked Daddy afterwards. They ran some errands, cleaned up the landscaping then Daddy thought since Tyler was so good it was time for that first bike lesson. Since Tyler is only 2 he didn't quite understand the concept of the pedals to be used as a means of going, so he used them as brakes only. Daddy had to use his muscles to get the bike to go. But he did enjoy his ride.

To the Fair with Daddy

Tyler enjoyed the fair so much with Mommy and MeMa that Daddy wanted in on the fun. So we took Daddy. Tyler was so excited to show Daddy all the animals and the fun rides. They rode Dragon Tails, the huge slide, the train, just to name a few. He also showed Daddy how he won a car by pulling out a Lucky Duck from a pond....... except this time Tyler pulled out 3 Lucky Ducks and won 3 cars. Boy was he excited!! We all had a fun day at the Fair.

Tyler with Uncle Todd, Aunt Denise & Cousins

This past weekend, Brent's brother and his family came for a short visit. Tyler had a great time visiting with Uncle Todd, Aunt Denise and his 3 cousins, Adam, Erik, and Kevin. Tyler doesn't get to spend much time with his cousins, so they play hard while they are together! Tyler enjoyed showing his cousins the Children's Museum, which is one of his favorite things to do. Erik, who is 3 months older than Tyler, showed Tyler one of his favorite videos, All About Tractors. Now Tyler wants to watch "Tractor". Tyler is looking forward to Christmas where he can visit with them and the other Hemmerts!

Trick or Treat

Tyler, Grandma, and Mommy Trick or Treating

Tyler and our Neighbor, Gabe, Trick or Treating

This year was Tyler's first time to go Trick or Treating. He was dressed in "scrubs" and was known as 'Dr. Tyler'. He was so excited to walk his neighborhood with his little friends. Tyler thought he was such a big boy to walk along side of his friends until it was time to walk up to the houses. Then someone had to carry him. It was just a little scary for him.
There was one house that was a 'Haunted House' that really scared Tyler. Mommy took him to the door, and Tyler was not afraid of the scary music or the skeltons. She thought he was very brave! Until, a man dressed up as a zombie started to grab for Tyler. Tyler screamed and screamed. He didn't even want the candy from the house, he just wanted to "Go Home, Go Home!" Tyler told us that he was "All done, go home", so we left his friends and went home.
Once he got home he was so excited to dump out his candy and look at his loot! He was one happy boy and being high on the sugar sure helped with that.

Family Picture with the Berry's

Uncle Dave should have been a photographer. He loves taking pictures, and is very good at it. He was thoughtful enough to bring his tripod so we could attempt to get a family picture. I say 'attempt' because Tyler isn't always good in front of a camera. He doesn't like to sit still and pose at all. But Uncle Dave had a red light on his camera that Tyler enjoyed looking at, so he did get some good shots. Thank you Uncle Dave!

Fair Fun!

Tyler showing Mommy his new car! Tyler reaching for the ducks Tyler and Mommy on the Roller Coaster The Jacksonville Fair is in town and Tyler had a blast! This was his first experience at a fair, and he loved every minute of it. He had many firsts, and some even surprised Grandma Kerr! Tyler and I first rode a kiddie roller coaster. He thought it was so much fun. I tried to get him to put his arms up in the air, but he isn't ready for that yet! After that, Tyler and I went down a huge 'Wee', aka slide. Grandma was surprised that Mommy and Tyler made it to the top in one piece; we were exhausted but we did it. He enjoyed the slide so much, he wanted to go down again. But, instead we rode a motorcycle on the Merry-go-round. He squealed and waved to everybody that we passed; that is everyone but Grandma! I believe his favorite part of the fair was winning a car at The Lucky Duck. He pulled out three plastic ducks floating in water and won a plastic duck. Tyler gave that car so many kisses, and he even slept with it!

Aunt Linda & Tyler

Aunt Linda finally got her alone time with Tyler. She ask if he would sit with her, and he climbed up on her lap and they definitely bonded. She read him books and watched one of his favorite TV shows called "frucks" -aka- "Bigfoot Meteor". Tyler, of course, informed Aunt Linda as to what was happening next on the show. The only problem was, she doesn't understand 'Tyler language' yet. Guess she needs to come down and stay a week to learn it.
When he got him off her lap, he notice they both had on blue crocs but hers had "bling" on it. He was so excited and really liked her bling. She has a strawberry which Tyler insist was an apple.
I know Tyler will look forward for his next visit with them both.

Aunt Linda & Uncle Dave Visit

Aunt Linda and Uncle Dave came for a visit from Conway, SC. Tyler was so excited they were here, he wanted a sleepover at MeMa's house with them. He was such a good sleeper.
Tyler tried to "help" Uncle Dave do some therapy for his shoulder. He always like to help out whenever he can!
Tyler is choosing what he wants to wear now. He really wanted to impress them with how handsome he looks in his good Polo shirts. The problem was, he didn't know which one to wear, so he chose to wear them both ..... unfortunately, he chose to do so at the same time. (he is only crying in this picture because he didn't want his picture taken)
