Ice Cream

If there is one thing that can put a glimmering in Papa's eyes, it's Ice Cream. Now Tyler has that same glimmering when Papa ask if he would like some ice cream. Of course, Tyler calls it "Cream". Tyler doesn't care to have his own bowl of "Cream", he loves sharing a bowl with Papa, and having Papa feed it to him. This is one food Tyler will let anyone feed to him. He loves his "Cream"!

Enjoying a Cookout

We spent Sunday afternoon at our friends condo for a cookout and a day at the pool. Tyler sure does love the water! The water was too cold for mommy, so daddy was 'the man' and suffered through the chills! It is amazing that Tyler has no fear with the water. He would lean forward to put his face in the water and to try to go further into the pool. Of course, daddy wasn't going to let the water go past his knees and Tyler did not like this. He let us know his frustration when daddy said it was time to get out of the pool. He did settle down to enjoy a tasty hot dog! Tyler is hoping that one day MeMa and Papa will get a pool in their backyard for him to enjoy.

Pure Exhaustion

Tyler had so much fun with mommy and daddy over the weekend, he didn't want to leave their sides! I guess you can say that he is becoming attached, which is not always a good thing! Sunday afternoon mommy was trying to take a shower. It was Tyler's nap time, but he wouldn't go down, so I decided to take my shower. The first few minutes, Tyler banged on the shower door screaming. Minutes later, I find him sleeping next to the shower. He fell asleep on the bathroom floor while I took my shower! He slept for 2 hours on the floor. You would think that I took a long shower, but surprisingly, I was out in 10 minutes! Guess Tyler was too tired to take his nap earlier when I tried.

Fireplace Play

Not sure how this could be so much fun! But Tyler was having fun placing Chloe inside the fireplace. And the puppy in Chloe didn't seem to mind at all.
Chloe just loves to play with Tyler. And Tyler just loves being mischievous!
It's never a DULL moment at MeMa's House.

Tyler's New Room

Tyler is hot stuff now that he is 2 years old! He is officially a big boy sleeping in a big boy bed. (We can't wait until he is potty trained now!) MeMa and Mommy spent Saturday repainting Tyler's room to get it ready for his new bed that MeMa and Papa Kerr gave him for his birthday. After we painted the walls two toned blue, we needed to decorate it with cars. Tyler loved helping us put the car stickers on the wall. As you can see, he was a big help!
As MeMa said in the post before this one, we were worried about how Tyler would respond to his big boy bed. But he is doing great! When it is time to go night-night, he walks straight to his bed and covers himself up. I make sure that he is all snug in, give him a kiss, and then turn off the lights. So far, this is easier then the crib. Lets hope it stays that way!

Big Boy Bed

MeMa's little 'Mr. Man' has become such a big boy. Now that he is 2 years old, he may still want to sleep with his 'poppy' -AKA- pacifier, but he is now sleeping in a Big Boy Bed.

I was a little worried as to how he would handle the big change from a crib to a toddler bed, but he loves going nighty night now. He just lays down and smiles up at you and says 'nighty night' and off he falls to sleep. He loves looking at and naming all the Tonka 'tractors and frucks' -AKA- trucks on his sheets and comforter. He thinks it's big stuff to have a pillow for the first time also. MeMa has no baby boy now, only a Big Boy.

Making Friends

On Sunday Mommy, MeMa and Tyler went to the beach. Tyler was all decked out in all his "Cars" attire. From head to toe! What a cutie he is! And he has no problem making friends of any age! Here is a picture of a cute girl he picked up on the beach. She even had 'bubbles' for him to play with. He shared her bubbles nicely with her.
