Kansas City

For an early Christmas gift, Zach gave Brent Kansas City Chiefs football tickets. (Which was a dream come true for Brent.) Zach and Brent had a great time in Kansas City and an even better time at the game, even though the Chiefs lost.

Brent thought he should get Tyler a present since he was away, so he got him a matching jersey. Tyler thinks he is hot stuff since he looks like daddy. He even wanted to wear a matching hat. It is big on him, but doesn't he look adorable?! Tyler and daddy enjoyed the day wearing matching jerseys, watching football, and playing football. He is growing into such a little man!

Sleepover

Mommy had a stomach virus and Grandma didn't want Tyler or herself to catch it, so Tyler had a sleepover. We all enjoy Tyler's sleepovers. He is so full of energy first thing in the morning. He is full of laughter and talk when he gets up. I look forward to the day I can understand what he is talking about. Even Papa helps out when Tyler has a sleepover. They bonded while Papa gave Tyler his bath.

Visit from Great's

This past week was a very busy week for Tyler. He had a full week of entertaining. His Great-Grandma Freddie, Great Aunt Mary and Great Uncle Mike S. came to visit from Columbus. We were on the go everyday. We went to a Nature Center and walked the trails to see all the trees and wild life. Tyler enjoyed seeing and smelling the trees while Grandma Freddie enjoyed picking up nuts that had fallen off the trees.
We also walked the historical town of St. Augustine. Tyler did great because he got to ride in his stroller while Grandma Freddie was a good trooper walking the whole way. Uncle Mike is a huge history buff so he enjoyed that trip. It was actually interesting to see the old fort and buildings. Another day we went to Jacksonville Beach. Tyler and Uncle Mike were the only ones who wore a bathing suit, so they playing in the water while the rest of us watched.
I think one of Tyler's favorite things he did all week was sitting on the floor and playing "Vroom Vroom" with Uncle Mike. As soon as he would see Uncle Mike walk into the room, he would run to him with his cars. Tyler also called him "Mike".

Trick or Treat

Grandma Kerr made Tyler's Halloween costume this year. He was a puppy dog, that daddy called "Spot". Since Tyler enjoys Tucker so much, we thought he would enjoy pretending he was him for the day! Tyler helped mommy and daddy pass out candy to the kids that came to the house. He enjoyed seeing how they all dressed up. He even found himself a girlfriend, Dorothy from Wizard of Oz. She kissed him on his forehead and as she was leaving, he started to chase after her. It was so sweet! I told him girls do not like guys who chase after them!

In the picture, Tyler is singing the "Wheels on the Bus". His hands are doing the movements of the wheels. That is his favorite song and they sing it every time in Gymboree class. He tries to sing, but the words come out as "booga, booga, booga". We can't wait to understand what he is saying.
