Nummy, Nummy

Tyler takes after his mommy with his eating. He loves to eat mashed potatoes, just like mommy. When he eats something that he enjoys, Tyler says, "Nummy, Nummy". We heard "Nummy, Nummy" a lot as we were eating dinner tonight! As you can see, he is an absolute mess when he eats. There are times when the food is all his face, hands, and hair. Tyler is trying to eat with a spoon, but he finds it very difficult to scoop food onto it. If the food does make it on the spoon, it falls off by the time it makes it to his mouth. He will learn with time! In the meantime, he will just be a messy eater.

Visit to Ohio

We had a great visit in Ohio with the Hemmert's. It was the first visit where Tyler was able to interact with his cousins. I had a great time seeing Tyler with them. Although, Tyler does not share too well. He screams and takes the toy away that he wants. I think he takes after Brent on that! He was happy as long as he had his "popping" toy. (He loves to push the toy where the balls pop inside.) We will work on sharing for our next visit.
The boys not only enjoyed playing with toys together, but they enjoyed bathtime too. Tyler loved splishing and splashing with his big cousins Adam and Erik. As you can see in the photo, he had a great time.
All the way home, he couldn't stop "jabbering" about all the fun he had with his cousins. The people on the plane had a lot to hear! He awaits his next visit!

It's Cleaning Time!

Tyler loves being with his daddy, no matter what they are doing. He is definitely a "Daddy's Boy". Tyler helps daddy do everything, from mowing the grass, to cleaning the house. As you can see, Tyler is glued to daddy as he is vacuuming. Have you ever heard of anyone enjoy vacuuming this much? I guess you have to be with your daddy to think it is fun! Brent sure is enjoying the time they are spending together.

Enjoying the Heat

When it's 103 degrees (heat index at 121 degrees) you have to do something to endure the heat. It's to hot to go in the sun at the beach, Grandpa won't let us have an inground pool, don't have a cute blow-up pool like at Mommy's house, but we can cool off in the little patio wadding pool. Of course, Tyler would rather climb in and out than sit in the pool. He is a very busy boy at 15 months old. I enjoy every minute I get to share with him.

Aunt Mary's Visit

Tyler had a very busy week while Aunt Mary was visiting from Columbus. We were on the go every day and he was very good. Whether we went to St. Augustine, to the Zoo, a walk, or just shopping, Tyler had only thing he wanted to do. And the one thing he loves to do is "smell flowers". He seems to prefer silk flowers over the real ones. He has the most adorable face when smells the flowers, Aunt Mary laughed the whole week at his little winkled up face.

At the zoo Tyler was a little more interested in the plants and flowers than he was in the animals. Whenever he noticed an animal, he was would say, "Hey Tucker". And all the goats in the petting zoo was "Tucker".
